PPCRV Television Ad Wins Silver at the 2014 Araw Values Awards
November 23, 2014

In an effort to help promote cleaner elections, PC&V collaborated with PPCRV (Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting), 4As (Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies) Philippines, and ASAP (Advertising Suppliers Association of the Philippines) to create a multimedia campaign with a strong anti-vote buying message.

The big idea makes use of money bills as blindfolds that cover voters' eyes. The slogan "Huwag magpabulag sa pera" is from a Filipino saying which warns people against getting "blinded with money".

When asked how it was like to be part of the project, PC&V Creative Director Don Bautista said, "When I presented the idea to PPCRV Chair Henrietta de Villa, she told me that the TV concept touched her and made her cry. We are so grateful for the opportunity to move people, the chance to create a better future for our nation."
